Directions from the Parkway East (Pittsburgh or Monroeville)
From the Parkway East (I-376), take Exit 5, Homestead/Squirrel Hill. From the exit go straight, following the Homestead signs (Blue Belt). You are on Beechview Blvd. which becomes Browns Hill Road.  Cross the Homestead Grays Bridge. Turn left onto Route 837 South (East 8th Avenue). At the third light, turn right onto McClure Street, then left onto 11th Avenue. The library is the large building (see photos at the top of this page) on the left. There is free on-street parking around the library. The handicapped entrance is on the 11th Avenue side of the building.

Directions from the South Side/Carson Street:
From Carson Street, follow Route 837 South toward Homestead. Follow signs to stay on Route 837, which becomes 8th Avenue. At the third light after the Homestead Grays Bridge, turn right onto McClure Street, then left onto 11th Avenue. The library is the large building on the left (see photos at the top of this page). There is free on-street parking around the library. The handicapped entrance is on the 11th Avenue side of the building.
