SilverSneakers classes meet Wednesdays and Fridays, 10 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. They are free for SilverSneakers members, all others pay $5.00 per class.

     The SilverSneakers Fitness Program is the nation's leading exercise program designed exclusively for Medicare-eligible health plan members (you can read more about SilverSneakers at www.silversneakers.com). The Carnegie Library of Homestead is offering the program in conjunction with Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield and Highmark Blue Shield.  SilverSneakers is an innovative exercise program specifically designed to meet Medicare beneficiaries' unique health and physical needs.  Eligible members recieve a free basic membership where they can enjoy specialized SilverSneakers classes focusing on improving strength, flexibility, balance and coordination. SilverSneakers participant also enjoy other features of the athletic club including use of exercise equipment, walking track and pool.
